When can I register?

What is the registration cost?

Basketball: Early Bird registration--$130; after 9/30--$155; Cheerleading: Early Bird registration--$133; after 9/30--$158

What grades does Upward provide?

For Basketball--K5 through 12th grade; For summer basketball camp--K5 through 8th grade; Cheerleading is K4-5th grade

When do practices begin?

The first week of December

How many days are practices each week and for how long?

Practices are only one day a week for one hour

When do games begin and where are they held?

Games begin the first weekend of January, are one hour in length and are held in the gym at LifePointe Alliance Church. We are not a traveling league.

What nights will my child practice?

Practice schedules are set up based on the availability of our volunteer coaches. Once the evaluations are over, we put the practice schedule together, run the draft, and then give the rosters to the coaches who then contact their teams.

Can I pick a specific night for practice?

We enable our families to pick ONE night that they CANNOT practice. They put this on their child's registration form and this is then entered into our Upward software program before we run the draft. We work hard to try to accommodate our families' schedules but with over usually 165 players or more each season, it is not possible for us to handle everyone's personal schedules.

How long does the season run?

For the 2019-2020 season, game season begins January 3rd or 4th (depending on grade) and ends February 21st or 22nd (depending on grade). Our 9th-12th grade boys' division games are typically held on Friday evenings and K-8th grade games are typically held on Saturdays.

What time will the games be for my child's age group?

We don't have that information until we know how many players we have for each age division. The only definite times are for the 9th-12th grade boys on Friday nights--games begin at 7 p.m. and usually end at 9 p.m.
