AWANA—what is it?!
AWANA is a fun-filled kids club that meets weekly from September through April. Each week is a different theme, such as: Sports Fan Night, Pajama Jam, and Dress Like a Christmas Tree Night. Each evening is action-packed with activities that will leave your children asking "is it AWANA night yet?!" AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 in the Bible: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." Children and their parents take an adventure through age-appropriate handbooks that build firm faith foundations as well as enabling scripture memorization and application. AWANA at LifePointe Alliance is for children Age 3 through Grade 6 and is open to anyone from the community. We invite you to join us on a high-energy, fun-filled Wednesday night! |
